I spent the weekend getting ready for and excited about our upcoming year. We had our annual Religious School Teacher Retreat at the beautiful San Damiano Retreat Center in Danville. Check out how gorgeous this place is:
I had a great time reconnecting with some of my fellow teachers, meeting some of our fabulous new staff and learning lots a great stuff. We talked a lot about using technology in the classroom. I picked up some fun tricks you might see this year and learned some more about blogging ;)
We then went back to Temple and I got to spend some time in our new Yad b' Yad classroom (Room 107). I had a lot of fun putting together our bulletin boards. After three years of sharing a preschool classroom I it really great to have a space of my own (well, I will share a little, but I get some wall space to be creative with). Here is a preview of a tiny piece of my hard work.
I'm looking forward to meeting all of you for our day on 9/11/11.
(please note that students will meet in Room 107 for class and parents are invited to the Sanctuary for parent orientation)
